SYNOPSIS
With the help of Park Gye-Won (Jang Hyuk), Lee Tae’s (Lee Joon) father overthrew the king and became the first king of a new dynasty. After his father died, Lee Tae took his place as king. Lee Tae thinks that he can do anything to reach his goal. He wants to rule as an absolute monarch, but First Vice-Premier Park Gye-Won is against that. Even the king isn’t as powerful as Park Gye-Won.
Yoo Jung (Kang Han-Na), on the other hand, comes from a wealthy family. She is like his wife to Lee Tae. Because of this, her family gets caught up in a fight for power in the royal court.
